What Kind Of Weather? When The Storm Blows Over…
Hey everyone! Thank you for supporting my website, and I hope you’ll forgive me for making you wait for this post. But now, I want to tell you why this weather is often the best. So, when you have been stuck all morning in your house because of rain, you will be really bored. But right when the rain stops, it’s the best time to go out. The bugs are all gone, and the raindrops are still on the leafs of all sorts of plants, making them even better for taking photos… Read More
The Laughing Dead
Okay everyone, I’d like you to take a look at these photos, what is something strange about them? If you can see them well, please note that this dead opossum’s spine is actually his funny bone. My siblings and my dad found this skeleton in our woods, and my dad was the one to notice that the spine’s bones have laughing faces. It’s pretty funny. Please comment on this if you have would like to share a virtual laugh! And please stay hooked to read my next post, “What Kind Of Weather?… Read More
Selling On Etsy
Hey everyone, today I’d like to tell you that I’ve made my first sale on Etsy. If you do not know what that is, it is a website where you can sell homemade products, and in my case, those products are photos. But the good news about Etsy is that it is free to make an account, and when you sell, Etsy only takes around 15% of the sale price. And itis a good way to show others your photos, or anything really, and let them keep one of their own. If… Read More
What Kind Of Weather? Part 3: Sunny Days
Hey everyone, I’m back from a short get-away vacation, so now we can look at the possibilities of sunny days. First thing I have to say, when I say Sunny Day, I mean anytime of the day, and most people’s personal favorite time, would be sunset. But wait! I’m going to do that last. Sunrise is a great time of day to go outside and snap some photos. At that time of day, the temperature is nice, unless its winter or fall, and the sunrise is really nice too. These photos are… Read More

What Kind Of Weather?- Part 2
Today, we will be looking at the photo opportunities during overcast days. I like these days a lot because the light is soft, and that means you don’t get harsh shadows. So let’s look at a few of my photos taken during overcast days. You can tell that these are all taken on cloudy days because the sky is not blue if you can see the sky, and because the photos are a little darker than ones taken on sunny days. But sometimes you are not looking for ordinary pictures, right? Well,… Read More
What Kind Of Weather?- Part 1
Well, I think that any weather is good as long as you are taking a picture of something that goes along what type of weather you are in. Let’s start with probably the most fun weather. Rain. Rainy days are really good for photography because you can take really creative pictures. A few examples would be a slow shutter-speed picture taken in when it’s pouring really hard, so you get a picture of every raindrop that passed the cameras “view.” That probably will only work when it’s pouring really hard. My favorite… Read More
They Grew Up!
Hey guys! Exiting news! The bay phoebe chicks have grown up very fast. They are really big, and they helped me make some really good photos! Here, look at this slideshow to see their lifespan so far. Those last photos really captured the moment. Five chicks are all bunched up, but luckily for me, the light is soft, and the middle chick and the far-left chick make some very nice photos. Please look on the gallery if you want to comment on one of those photos!

Accessories?
Here’s a question for you guys, do you need accessories? I would say yes. Why? Because sooner or later, you will come across a time when you need accessories. Me for instance, I just got a telephoto lens recently (I know I was telling you guys earlier that you needed more lenses, but I had already ordered one and it was still coming.), and I found out that even with a tripod, my zoomed-up photos all are blurry, so I got a remote control shutter-release cord. I hope it works for you… Read More
The Nature Of Photography: Final Lesson
Okay, how are you all feeling about these lessons? Please comment to give me feedback. Anyways, the subject today is…. Diversify. That is really important for photographers, me, for instance, I love taking close-ups of nature, and that’s almost all I ever do. But even I need to remember, “Diversify is key!” It really is. Let me how you my close-ups, ten I’ll show you my non-close-ups. I think those photos are great, but let’s look at my other photos, non-close-up. Okay, I’ll admit those are pretty good, that’ exactly my point!… Read More
