ISO

Okay, here is another lesson on photography. The term ISO is the shortened way to say, the camera’s sensitivity to light. On your camera, there should be a button on the left side of the screen that has the letters ISO above it. When the screen is off, press and hold the button while turning the main dial. You will notice that on the little screen on the top of the camera, a number starts to move around. The higher the number, the more sensitivity the camera has, and the lower the number, the less sensitivity the camera has. The highest number I have is 1600, but most cameras go to 8000. But the higher the number, the more “noise”, or, “grittiness”, the picture will have. So I usually have mine on 200, because my nature photos need good detail. Okay, that’s all, see you next time!
